 In semiotics terms, what should be the object of communication? What should your image communicate beyond a denotative message? If a key is the object, and you draw a key (representamen), what interpretants should be likely?

Read and Write: Definitions to Know  Semiotics : The study of symbols and signs as well as their meaning Denotation : The literal meaning of the word Connotation : The feeling a word gives off in addition to the literal meaning Icon : The design of a graphic symbol (app icons, store icons etc.) Tone : The attitude of a piece Metaphor : When a word or phrase is applied to something and it is either not literally applicable or means it's symbolic of something else not seen.
