2. Make a list of your top-three favorite projects of theirs and explain why they’re your favorites.

   The Wild- it was a really great way of expressing to the audience how it feels to be black in our current society and how to embrace one's wild side.

   Rise and Shine- the posters done were very lively and full of energy. They made the viewer more inclined to attend the event, especially since he is the designer and performer at the same time.

   Amplifon- I have experimented with making websites in the past and it gave me a better sense of what software I can use and how in the future. The large amount of documentation for this project helped me get a sense of how he thinks about his work which will help me in my own endeavors.

3. What are three words that characterize their style?

   Eclectic, modern, refreshing

4. Write a paragraph about how they promote themselves or their studio. What image are they trying to project?

   Something that he takes pride in is working in an environment where he can "encourage action around the legal rights of oppressed and marginalized people." Their portfolio and personal website are clean and simple, but his work has depth and detail. I really admire the way that he documents his process and really lets the viewer step into his shoes and see it exactly how he did. He is really engaged in his community and is also quite authentic, and you can see this at his public speaking events.

5. What are some key phrases about how they are characterized by the press, their peers, and the public. What have people said or written about them?

   
   

   "Qa'id comes across as very knowledgeable, curious, invested, and helpful. I appreciate him sharing very specific advice to my concerns and questions."

   "He has a wealth of design knowledge having worked in the field in many roles, and he always strived to share as much information as possible with me within the short time of the course. He provided detailed feedback on my assignments, shared many valuable resources, and coached me on ways that I can continue to improve my design skills in the future."
